Watch: SEVENTEEN Members Face Off Against "Amazing Saturday" Cast In Fun Preview

The members of SEVENTEEN will be going head-to-head with the cast of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”!

On August 22, the popular variety show aired a sneak peek of its upcoming episode, which will feature SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups, Mingyu, Dino, Vernon, DK, Seungkwan, and The8 as guests.

The new preview begins by pointing out the fact that the show’s signature “Amazing Saturday” cheer comes from SEVENTEEN’s song “Very Nice,” before introducing the seven members that will be guesting on that day’s episode.

In contrast to the show’s usual format, in which guests typically join the “Amazing Saturday” team and work together with the cast, the SEVENTEEN members will form their own team and compete against the “Amazing Saturday” cast members. Expressing their determination to win, Mingyu declares, “I’m serious about this right now,” and Vernon chimes in, “We’ll show you [what we’ve got].”

After the SEVENTEEN members show off their fighting spirit with a team song that declares, “Let’s defeat the DoReMi [team],” the “Amazing Saturday” cast attempts to respond with a team cheer of their own—but their teamwork hilariously falls apart mid-cheer.

Once the game begins, the cast members complain that the lyrics they’ve been given are too hard—but the SEVENTEEN members are as confident as ever. When S.Coups exclaims, “I heard more than I expected,” Nucksal jokes, “Copy everything SEVENTEEN wrote down.”

Towards the end of the clip, the show puts a wall between SEVENTEEN and the “Amazing Saturday” cast, making it impossible for them to see one another. As a result, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon jokingly calls out, “Guys, you’re doing well [over there], right?” Mingyu also plays along by reaching out to Nucksal and wailing, “Hyung!”

SEVENTEEN’s episode of “Amazing Saturday” will air on April 29 at 7:30 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new preview below!
