May Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from April 6 to May 6.

Yoo Jae Suk held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 2,340,990. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Running Man,” “How Do You Play?“, and “You Quiz on the Block,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “transform,” “challenge,” and “travel.” The star’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.78 percent positive reactions.

Tak Jae Hoon took second place for May with a brand reputation index of 2,076,114, marking a 40.38 percent increase in his score since last month.

Shin Dong Yup came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 2,011,184, marking a 57.25 percent rise in his score since April.

Finally, Kim Jong Kook and Lee Sang Min rounded out the top five for May at fourth and fifth places respectively.
