BTS' Suga Becomes 3rd K-Pop Soloist Ever To Spend 6 Weeks On Billboard 200

Over a month after its release, BTSSuga’s first official solo album is still doing well on the Billboard charts!

Last month, Suga’s solo album “D-DAY” debuted at No. 2 on the Top 200 Albums chart, tying his bandmate Jimin‘s record for the highest-ranking Korean solo album in Billboard 200 history. Suga also became the first K-pop soloist to break the top 20 with two different albums, as his 2020 mixtape “D-2” previously reached No. 11 on the chart.

For the week ending on June 3, “D-DAY” successfully remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 131, marking its fifth consecutive week on the chart.

This achievement makes Suga only the third K-pop soloist ever to spend a total of six weeks on the Billboard 200 (across all his albums), following his bandmates RM and Jimin.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “D-DAY” stayed strong at No. 5 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, in addition to sweeping the No. 16 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Finally, Suga charted at No. 81 on Billboard’s Artist 100 under the name Agust D, marking his sixth week on the chart as Agust D and his seventh overall (across all stage names).

Congratulations to Suga on his new record!
