"Dream High" To Hold Concert in Japan

Dream High,” the 2011 drama starring a mostly idol cast is successfully conquering Japan.  Originally aired over KBS2TV in Korea, “Dream High” achieved solid ratings nationwide.  The drama started airing in Japan over DATV a few weeks later.  Positive response to the broadcast has prompted DATV to air re-runs.

With these developments, DATV and AVEX will partner to stage a Dream High concert at the Saitama Super Arena on September 4th.  The event will feature “Dream High” cast members, Bae Yong Joon, and JY Park.

“Dream High,” about the lives of Kirin High School students aspiring to a music career, is a collaboration of Bae Yong Joon’s Key East Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, starring Kim Soo Hyun, miss A’s Suzy, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, T-ara’s Eunjung, and IU.

The drama likewise produced a hit soundtrack album, the Japanese special edition of which will be launched on July 27th.
