KARA's Han Seung Yeon Cast in "Jang Ok Jung"

KARA‘s Han Seung Yeon is set to put on her acting hat as she challenges herself with a new role. According to reports in local news agencies, the singer is cast in the forthcoming drama “Jang Ok Jung, Lives in Love.” Han Seung Yeon joins Jae Hee and Yoo Ah In in the SBS drama that tells the story of King Sukjong.

Reports further said the idol’s role is one of the King’s concubines. It is expected that her role will increase and expand in influence over the course of the drama.

Meanwhile, “Jang Ok Jung, Lives in Love” also features the story of the Joseon-era fashion designer. There is yet no announcement of when the drama is slated to air.
