2NE1 and Gummy Join Forces to Perform Charity Concert Helping Youth

YG labelmates 2NE1 and Gummy are using their popularity for a great cause!

2NE1 and Gummy will perform a concert titled “Accompany” on February 23 at 5pm for free. It will be held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.

Manufacturing company Silkroad C&T will be hosting the event this year as they have been since 2008. 2NE1 also participated in the charity concert last year in Vietnam, which was met with great interest and enthusiasm.

The concert will raise funds to support children in the Tae Ahn region in South Korea affected by the big oil spill in 2007 with full scholarships for education.

YG Entertainment first became involved in social issues in 2009 with public service campaign “WITH.” 2NE1 and Gummy are both currently busying working on their albums and individual schedules. It’s been mentioned previously that 2NE1 will make a comeback in March along with Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Lee Hi.
