Last movie in director Park Chan Wook’s famed Vengeance Trilogy, “Lady Vengeance” stars Lee Young Ae in one of her best performances of her career. After being framed for a murder she didn’t commit and having her daughter shipped off abroad as an adoptee, Lee Young Ae’s Geumja plans an elaborate revenge against the man who started it all. “Lady Vengeance” will have you rooting for the merciless and beautiful Geumja in her quest for vengeance.

3. Harmony (2010)

4. Miss Granny

Shim Eun Kyung (“Tomorrow Cantabile”), who also stars in “Sunny,” shows an unforgettable performance as a granny who finds herself 50 years younger in her 20 year-old body in “Miss Granny.” Hilarity ensues, as Shim Eun Kyung’s character tries to hide her identity to her family and friends while enjoying her youth. This movie’s Chinese remake will also be released soon!

5. As One (2012)

Based on a true story, “As One” sees South and North Korea’s best table tennis players come together for a united Korean team at the international table tennis world cup. Bae Doona and Ha Ji Won play rivals who eventually turn into an unbeatable duo and friends. Han Yeri and Choi Yoon Young also star in “As One” as extremely likable members of the united Korean women’s ping pong team.
