Lee Tae Sung Finalizes Divorce from Wife; Gets Custody of Son

Actor Lee Tae Sung, who is currently serving in the military, and his now ex-wife “A” have divorced after three years of marriage.

According to Daily Sports, they recently reached a mutual agreement to end their marriage. Lee Tae Sung was first introduced to “A,” who is seven years his senior, in 2009 by a mutual acquaintance, and the couple registered their marriage in April 2012. Around the same time, Lee Tae Sung announced through his Twitter that his wife had already given birth to a son. However, the couple was unable to hold their wedding ceremony due to complications in the marriage registration process, and the actor ended up enlisting in the military in October 2013.

A representative of Lee Tae Sung stated, “Lee Tae Sung enlisted in the military soon after registering the marriage. They decided to go separate ways due to reasons such as clashing personalities and communication problems caused by unfavorable circumstances. Both parties agreed to the divorce.”

It has been decided that Lee Tae Sung gets custody of their son.

The actor will be discharged from the military in July.
