Soo Ae to Return to Big Screen with "Take Off" Sequel

Actress Soo Ae will be making her return to the big screen.

On June 10, it was reported that Soo Ae is currently considering a role in “Take Off 2.” This would be her first movie in two years, as she last starred in the 2013 disaster flick, “Flu.”

“Take Off 2” is the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster hit that told the story of a ski jump team. The sequel will portray the formation of a women’s ice hockey team. Director Kim Jong Hyun, known for “My New Partner” and “Super Star Kim Sa Yong” will be directing the film. Soo Ae has been actively preparing for the role, learning how to play hockey.

Soo Ae is currently starring in SBS drama “Mask.” “Take Off 2” will be confirming casting shortly and is scheduled to go into productions later this year.
