Lee Seung Gi's Last Recording of "Strong Heart" To Be a YG Special Episode

We previously reported that Lee Seung Gi was to leave Strong Heart and that a recording date had been announced. Singer, actor and entertainer Lee Seung Gi‘s last episode of SBS‘ “Strong Heart” will be a YG Special episode.

On February 23, a representative from SBS variety programs’ department told Newsen through a phone call, “It seems that the recording of March 15 will be a YG artists special episode.” He then added, “It will also be Lee Seung Gi’s last appearance on the show as an MC.”

For the YG special episode, YG Entertainment‘s artists Big Bang, who will release their fifth mini album “Alive” on February 29 will make a guest appearance on the talk show.

As we reported a few weeks ago, Lee Seung Gi had to leave KBS “1N2D” to focus on his Japanese debut as a singer. He recently released the music video for his debut single “Alone in Love” on February 22 and is scheduled to release his debut album on March 6.

Lee Seung Gi, who plans to hold a concert at the Tokyo Arena in June will have to dedicate his time to his Japanese debut and that is one of the reasons why he is to leave “Strong Heart” as well. The singer and actor will also be busy filming his latest drama “King2Hearts” as the lead actor along actress Ha Ji Won.

“King2Hearts” will premiere on March 2012 on MBC.

He has been co-hosting the show with Kang Ho Dong before he retired to solve his tax issues. Lee Seung Gi has the been hosting the show alone and managed to maintain its spot on Korean TV.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi will make his return as an MC this summer with his new variety show “Dining Table for 100.’
