R&B vocalist ALi has recently come under fire for her self-composed and written song, "Nayoungee," which is based on an actual rape victim. In 2008, a man named Cho Doo Soon raped an 8-year old girl in the bathroom stalls of a church. The case was blown up by the media back then and it is still one of the most famous rape crime cases in Korea. The case was actually dubbed as "The Nayoung Case," coining a pseusonym for the rape victim.

Ali to Release Official Album "Soul-Ri" on December 13
The soulful singer Ali will release her first official album “Soul-Ri” on December 13. The title song for her official album “Don’t Act So Countrified” and BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung will feature on the song. The song will have a hip-hop style rhythm with a reggae melody. There are 4 songs on the album that Ali has written and produced. Songs that show off her vocal skills include “365 Days” and “What Is This?” Ali stated, “I am happy that I was able to release an official album within two years of my debut. I love this album even more because it includes songs that I wrote which did not have a chance to shine.”

Davichi’s talented singer Kang Min Kyung is set to be replaced by her talented group compatriot Lee Hae Ri on KBS “Immortal Song 2.” According to Davichi’s agency Core Contents Media, “Kang Min Kyung will leave the show after today’s (Nov. 7) ‘Immortal Song 2’ best of the best special recording.”
