No Min Woo Reveals that He Almost Went Blind Before

The multi-talented actor and singer No Min Woo has revealed on a recent recording of KBS2TV‘s “Global Request Show- A Song For You” that he almost went blind during a previous drama recording.

KBS2TV’s “Global Request Show – A Song For You” is a new music request show featuring 2AM’s Jo Kwon as the MC. People from all over the world post their story and song request on the official Facebook page. These requests are then selected and a different celebrity appears every week to read out the stories and personally sing the song that has been requested. The guests for the first two episodes were boy group EXO and recently the program revealed that the guest for this week’s episode will be none other than the multi talented No Min Woo.

For this week’s episode, one of the stories that will be covered is about a girl from Finland that continues to live a bright and happy life despite disabilities in her hands. The story is said to have touched the heart of No Min Woo and the rest of the crew at the recording.

No Min Woo, touched by the story, revealed that he nearly lost his eye sight after injuring his eyes during a previous drama recording. He talked about the wave of emotions he felt back then and how he worried about not being able to play the guitar because he couldn’t see. He even revealed that because of this thought, he purposely begin to practice playing the guitar in total darkness to prepare for the unexpected. No Min Woo mentioned his own story because he respected the Finnish girl’s positivity and high spirits, even going as far to say that he wished to make a song for her.
