K-Pop Star Season 2 Contestant Shin Ji Hoon to Debut as Singer and Figure Skater
Multi-talented “K-Pop Star” Season 2 contestant Shin Ji Hoon will be making her debut!
On October 9, Shin Ji Hoon’s entertainment agency, Cube DC communicated via My Daily news that, “Shin Ji Hoon will be making her official debut as a singer. We anticipate releasing her album sometime this month. She has already completed recording all the songs for her album. The plan is to have Shin Ji Hoon pursue activities both as a singer and figure skater.”
The young and talented 15-year-old just finished filming her music video and recording her songs. Her debut track is said to be a ballad that captures the feelings associated with autumn and highlights her impressive vocals.
Her agency representatives stated, “After Shin Ji Hoon had her audition, she has been practicing skating and singing ever since. Given her young age, she has put aside various other opportunities and placed all her energy and effort into her debut. She hopes to be able to shed her amateur image and showcase her vocals as a young and budding artist.”
Shin Ji Hoon signed onto Cube DC’s label under Cube Entertainment this past June. Cube DC is also known to house world star Rain. She also contributed the song “I’m Stupid” to the SBS drama “Birth Secret,” which has helped establish a following for the young talent already.
After signing Shin Ji Hoon under Cube Entertainment, representative Hong Seung Sung commented, “The way she expresses herself and communicates with others is beyond her years. She is an artist with overflowing potential. I expect the songs she sings to have the power to touch people’s hearts.”
