BIGBANG Wins "Inkigayo" for Second Week in a Row, Everyone Sings Happy Birthday to Taeyang

It was BoA versus BIGBANG versus BIGBANG for this week’s SBS “Inkigayo,” a head-to-head match between “Asia’s star,” making her two-year-nine-month comeback, and BIGBANG, who has shown awesome staying power on the charts, having stayed on top for 16 days straight. 

In the end, BIGBANG holds on for the win, recording an impressive 10,594 points. After G-Dragon accepts the award, Seungri mentions that tomorrow is Taeyang‘s birthday, and immediately leads the entire stage in singing happy birthday to Taeyang.

This episode was also GOT7 Jackson‘s initiation as an MC for the show, and he performs to “Stop Stop It Intro.” At the end of the show, when the MCs ask him how his first day was, he says, “I’ll take more public speaking lessons.”
