Girls' Generation's Seohyun And 2PM's Taecyeon Rewrite Their Story In New Drama “The First Night With The Duke”

KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke” has unveiled new stills featuring Seohyun and Taecyeon!

“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun) whose soul is transferred into a minor character of a romance novel. After she wakes up inside the world of the novel, she winds up spending the night with the obsessive male lead Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).

Cha Sun Chaek (Seohyun) starts off as a minor character in the novel. But everything changes when a real-world college student—a devoted fan known only as K—takes over her body. This unexpected twist completely alters the original plot. As Cha Sun Chaek becomes involved with Yi Beon, she quickly rises to become a central figure in the story.

Adding to the twist, Yi Beon—known for his good looks, martial arts skills, and charisma—falls for Cha Sun Chaek instead of the novel’s original heroine. Usually calm and emotionless, he becomes surprisingly open and relentless once he develops feelings, showing a bold, all-in approach as he pursues her.

As a once-invisible background character crosses paths with the story’s standout male lead, viewers are left wondering what kind of unexpected romance will develop. Newly released photos reveal how much their relationship changes overnight, sparking curiosity with just one glance.
