Girls' Generation's Seohyun Runs Away As 2PM's Taecyeon Pursues Her In New Drama "The First Night With The Duke"
KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke” has unveiled new posters!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).
In the newly released poster, Cha Sun Chaek (Seohyun) looks back hurriedly while running away so fast that one of her shoes slips off. The tagline on the poster hints at her unexpected role in the story, reading, “She took something precious, something that she shouldn’t have coveted.”
Meanwhile, Yi Beon gazes through a telescope with a determined, confident expression. Notably, he appears to be staring in the direction where Cha Sun Chaek’s flower shoe has been left behind. The tagline also suggests that he’s searching for Cha Sun Chaek, who has captured his heart: “If you take [someone’s] first night, it’s only natural to take responsibility.”
“The First Night with the Duke” premieres on June 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
