2PM’s Junsu Laments over Father’s Death

Earlier today, we reported that 2PM’s Junsu’s father had passed away due to a sudden heart attack (myocardial infarction). Immediately after hearing the shocking news, Junsu headed to Daegu for the funeral.

Just moments ago, Junsu expressed his feelings for the first time through Twitter. He wrote, “Yesterday, my father that I love so much passed away so suddenly. My heart hurts so bad. Please pray for my father to rest in peace at a better place.”

Junsu’s father passed away on January 19 at the age of 59. Junsu is particularly taking it hard as he is the first son of the family. A representative said, “As the Sang Joo (head of the funeral), Junsu is taking care of his mother and sibling. His colleagues are heading to Daegu.”

Nichkhun sent his condolences saying, “Though the body is away but the love will remain always. Let all your love be with @Jun2daKAY n pray that he’s stronger through all the pain.” Taecyeon also tweeted, “Hottests around the world, pray for Junsu.”
