Popular solo singer Kim Jeong Hoon is back with his first mini-album. Sweet-sounding Jeong Hoon has returned with an all-ballad album and doesn’t disappoint with the vocals.
In his title song, “Stepped on Eye”, the beautiful instrumental background is accompanied well with his soft vocals. A story can be heard by the passion exhibited from this song. The fourth track, “She’s Not There” shows the same power and feeling as the title song. Love ballads are definitely his specialty and he holds nothing back. “Blow On Memories” (track 3) starts off with a piano instrumental and then wakes you up with an electric guitar solo. This song definitely has more power and the instrumental truly allows him to hit hard on his notes.
Overall, this album is good to listen to. It has great vocals, soothing music, and great storytelling. Kim Jeong Hoon brings out the character of each track and tells a story with his vocals within each song, allowing listeners to visualize it.
