BEAST returned to Malaysia for second time this month for MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011.

They arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on the 24th and were greeted by local fans. Although they had just finished a fan meeting in Taiwan the day before, they were still full of energy and happily greeted their fans.

Fans began to queue up as early as 3PM in order to get the best view. The doors were opened at 6.30PM and were entertained by K-Pop music videos being played on the main screen.

Dressed in all white, BEAST opened their set with “Shock” then went straight into their hits “Fiction” and “When It Rains.”

After a brief video interlude and costume change, they returned to the stage for performances of “Special,” “Breath”. To conclude their set, Dong Woon said in English, “Thank you for coming and how our performance was. Is it good and do you want some more?” Then then began to sing their hit single “Beautiful,” throwing flowers to their female fans during the performance.

They showed their energetic performances throughout their set with fans singing along and cheered. The boys looks happy with the audiences reaction.

“For the third year, Malaysia has been the perfect host and the fans have made our third MTV World Stage a resounding success,” said Indra Suharjono, Viacom International Media Networks executive vice-president and managing director of North and Southeast Asia. “Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time, and I’d like to express my thanks and gratitude to all of the performers, our sponsors and media partners, and especially the fans for making MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 a truly unforgettable event.”

BEAST also shared the stage with Malaysian favorites Pop Shuvit, alternative and rock Billboard chart-toppers Neon Trees and platinum-recording artists and multiple MTV award-winning Thirty Seconds To Mars. Together, they entertained an audience of over 15,000 fans at i-city in Shah Alam. MTV Asia VJs Utt and Holly hosted the show.
