BEAST Yoon Doo Joon Shows Off Soccer Skills on MBC’s New Drama “A Thousand Kisses”

Photos of BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon making a special appearance on MBC’s upcoming drama, “A Thousand Kisses,” have been released today. In the drama that is set to premiere on August 20th, Yoon Doo Joon plays the role of star soccer player, Yoon Ki Joon.

Yoon Doo Joon is well-known for his soccer love. He’s played soccer in high school and is a member of MEN, the star-studded celebrity soccer team consisting of JYJ’s Junsu and Jaejoong, BEAST’s Lee Ki Gwang and Yoseob, as well as Kim Hyun Joong.

The production team of “A Thousand Kisses” was looking for an actor with both star appeal and soccer skills, and Yoon Doo Joon, who has received positive reviews for his acting in MBC sitcom “All My Love,” was picked as the #1 candidate. The BEAST member really liked the idea of starring as a soccer player, and also since 4minute’s Nam Ji Hyun, his fellow agency-mate, is also appearing in the show, he gladly accepted the offer.

During the filming that took place in Incheon recently, Yoon Doo Joon impressed the production crew not just with his acting and soccer skills, but also with his muscular thighs, thus earning the nicknam, “stone-thighs.” An official was quoted as saying, “His soccer skills were so good you would have believed him if he said he’s a professional player. We believe Yoon Doo Joon’s appearance would provide a better viewing experience to our fans.”

“A Thousand Kisses” is a family melo drama featuring veteran actors including Seo Young Hee, Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Soon jae, Kim So Eun and Ryu Jin. The first episode will air on August 20th at 8:40PM KST.
