Big Bang GD Hugs 2NE1 Minzy and Tells Her to Brag to Her Friends

On April 3, SBS aired the second episode of “Strong Heart – YG Family Special,” where 2NE1’s Minzy shared stories of her labelmates, titling it the “YG X-Files.” She started, “When G-Dragon oppa was performing ‘Heartbreaker,’ he had a bad case of narcissism. I was at the hair salon, when all of a sudden, he hugged me from the back. Then he whispered into my ear, ‘Tell your friends that I hugged you.’” Surprised, G-Dragon replied, “I said that?” Minzy continued, “Bad boys always pretend they didn’t do what they did,” causing those on set to burst into laughter.”

She added, “He was so vain. Back then, I figured he was in big trouble [because of his vanity].” MC Lee Seung Gi asked, “Did you brag to your friends?” to which Minzy answered, “I didn’t see the need to.”

The two re-enacted the back-hug scene at the studio, earning woos and ahhs from fellow labelmates.  

Meanwhile, last night’s show marked Lee Seung Gi’s last episode as MC of “Strong Heart.” He said his teary goodbyes and thank yous, leaving viewers and fans wanting more. He will be replaced by Lee Dong Wookand Shin Dong Yup.
