CNBlue Takes their “First Step” with 500 Fans

CNBlue released their first full album “FIRST STEP” on March 21st with a guerrilla concert that lasted about an hour. The concert took place at Youngdungpo Times Square at 7PM, but fans flocked to the site early morning to grab spots closer to the stage.

Over 500 fans cheered as CNBlue opened the concert with their popular song “Loner.” They moved onto songs from their new album: “Love Girl,” “Imagine,” “One Time,” “I Don’t Know Why” and their title track “Intuition.” Nine out of 12 tracks on their new album were written and composed by the members themselves. While CNBlue is still perceived as an idol rather than a band in Korea, their new album definitely shows their efforts to establish themselves as a band. CNBlue decided to hold a guerrilla concert to start their official promotional activities because they wanted to share the moment with their fans.

At the press conference held before the concert, the members stated, “Structurally, it’s hard to sing and play instruments live on broadcast music programs.” To make up for those shows, members of CNBlue put their hearts and souls into their concert performance.
