Dimension Films to Remake Won Bin’s “The Man from Nowhere”

On March 8 it was reported that Dimension Films bought the rights for “The Man from Nowhere” starring Won Bin. According to a press release, the screenwriter Shawn Christensen who wrote the script for the 2011 film “Abduction” (Starring Taylor Lautner) will be a part of the adaptation.

CJ Entertainment stated, “Dimension Films bought the rights to remake ‘The Man from Nowhere’ however we are still in talks about the investment and production processes.”

Here is the basic synopsis for “The Man form Nowhere”: A pawnshop keeper (portrayed by Won Bin) has interactions with a child who frequents his shop. One day the child is abducted and in the process of saving her, the pawnshop owner’s violent past is revealed.
