FT Island to Embark on Summer Tour in Japan

FT Island will hold a four city Japan tour concert this summer, under the title, “FT Island Summer Tour 2012 ~ RUN! RUN! RUN!” The concert tour will cover Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukui, for a total of five concerts. The tour will run from June 24 to July 8.

“FT Island Summer Tour 201~ RUN! RUN! RUN!” is the largest scale concert tour in FT Island’s history, with an estimated crowd of over 60,000 people coming to the concert. Since their Japanese debut in 2010, FT Island has been able to secure a huge following and this tour is expected to only boost their popularity.

FT Island’s first Japanese album, “Five Treasure Island,” sold over 37,000 copies in the first week of its sale, topping the Oricon Weekly Chart. Their first Budokan concert in Japan sold out all tickets in less than two minutes, while their Yokohama concert sold out in just one minute.
