Girls' Generation Sunny Poses in Her "Catch Me if You Can" Character

Shots of Girls’ Generation’s Sunny as her character Brenda Strong in “Catch Me if You Can” are out, in anticipation of the musical’s opening on March 28. As earlier reported, Sunny will essay the role of the lead character’s love interest, a role originally played in the 2002 Hollywood movie by Amy Adams.

Sunny will alternate with CSJH The Grace’s Dana and theater actress Choi Woori for the Korean staging of the popular Broadway musical. As the story is set in the 1960s, for the role, she is dressed in retro-inspired outfits that also give off an innocent charm.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Key, actors Eom Ki Joon (“Dream High”), Kim Jung Hoon (“Goong,” “I Need Romance”) and Park Kwang Hyun will rotate for the role of the lead, Frank Abagnale, Jr.

“Catch Me if You Can,” the film directed by Steven Spielberg was based on a true story and featured Leonardo Di Caprio in the lead role. The Broadway adaptation opened in April 2011, with its five-month run honored with three Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical.
