Jung Il Woo's "Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop" Adds Lee Ki Woo to the Cast

Jung Il Woo’s upcoming drama “Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop” has just added another “flower boy” in its cast. Lee Ki Woo, fresh out of military service on September 1, joins the drama as Choi Kang Hyuk, a genius chef from Japan.

The production has reportedly picked the actor because he fits in with the image of being a big brother and a romantic guy. Lee Ki Woo was last seen on TV in 2008’s “A Star’s Lover,” co-starring with Choi Ji Woo, Yoo Ji Tae, Ki Tae Young and Choi Phillip.   

“Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop” is a slice-of-life romantic comedy that revolves around a group of pretty boys who operate a ramen shop and attracting the attention of lively college girls. The drama will have 16 episodes.

“Flower Boys of the Ramen Shop” premieres on tvN in October to replace the currently airing “Birdie Buddy.”
