JYJ “World Tour Concert in 2011” to Begin in April

JYJ will start their “World Tour Concert in 2011” this April, covering 10 cities in seven different countries, CJeS Entertainment said today. The tour will begin in Thailand on April 2nd and 3rd, and move on to Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. JYJ will then fly to the US and Canada, making stops in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Vancouver.

“After performing in seven countries over nearly two months, JYJ will wrap up their world tour in Seoul, Korea,” CJeS Entertainment said. For this world tour, organized to celebrate the release of JYJ’s new album “The Beginning,” Jaejoong will take on the lead director role to oversee the whole production of it.

“Jaejoong was very involved in the overall production of JYJ’s previous concerts, freely interacting with Korean, American, and Japanese staff members over the stage and video effects, as well as other business decisions. We thought very highly of that and decided to give him the lead director role for this world tour,” CJeS said.

Prior to this world tour, JYJ is expected to hold a fan meeting titled “Sweet White Day Date” on March 12th. Tickets to this meeting were sold out in less than 15 minutes as it’s their first official meeting with fans since their concert last November.
