Kim Hyun Joong Wins "Best Dressed" Award in Japan

Kim Hyun Joong has won an award for being the best dresser in Japan. Sky Perfect TV, Japan’s largest satellite broadcaster, awarded Kim with the title and trophy during the 2010 SkaPa (Sky Perfect) Awards, held in Tokyo last Wednesday. Ever year, Sky Perfect TV awards the best shows and artists among the most popular TV genres.

Kim, who is already known throughout Korea as a style icon, accepted the award in person. “I’m very happy and honored,” he said.

Kim is known to most K-Pop fans as a member of SS501, but he has gained attention throughout Japan since starring in the popular drama “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009. His Japanese fans are awaiting his next drama, “Playful Kiss”, which will air in that country beginning next month.

In the meantime, Kim will be performing the theme song for games at the opening ceremony of the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou on November 12.
