Kind-hearted SNSD Visits a Cambodian Fan in Hospital

The leader of the K-Pop boom, SNSD, visited and prayed for the fast recovery of Nove Selaili (11 years old) from Cambodia. At such a young age, Selaili is currently suffering from a heart disease. 

Selaili received a surprise visit from the girl group while waiting for her surgery that took place on September 8. Her heart surgery at Korea University’s Ansan Hospital will hopefully cure her ventricular septal defect.

Selaili, who arrived in Korea on September 7, was surprised and grateful when she received Tiffany, Yoona and Hyoyeon in her hospital room. It was revealed that Selaili is a fan of SNSD, which made this surprise visit even more meaningful.

Before entering Korea, Selaili was unable to receive surgery due to the poor financial status of her family. But with the generous donations and help from KBS, Children’s Foundation, Korea University Ansan Hospital and SNSD, she was able to come to Korea for surgery.

After her surgery, Selaili is to return to Cambodia near the end of September.

Meanwhile, SNSD’s members visit on the eve of Selaili’s surgery helped comfort her about being in a strange and new country. It could be seen that the girls all shared a good time together.
