Lee Joon Admits BEAST Is More Popular Than MBLAQ

On February 22, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon made an appearance on MBC “Radio Star” and shared his true feelings about the rivalry between MBLAQ and BEAST.

“We debuted at the same time as BEAST. But these days we’re even worse than Infinite,” Lee Joon said, bringing laughter to the crowd. The hosts continued, “BEAST members told us they’re more popular than MBLAQ,” to which Lee Joon responded, “That’s true. We’re pushed away a lot.”

He continued, “Early in our career, we were better. When we appeared on radio shows, BEAST couldn’t get any schedules booked and just watched us from outside. Especially, Yoon Doo Joon did that. But now things have changed.”

Lee Joon was also asked about losing his top spot within MBLAQ to G.O. “Now I’m in charge of the group’s impact,” he said with his trademark smile.

We’re not sure if BEAST is indeed more popular than MBLAQ now, but we still love Lee Joon for his great sense of humor!
