SM Entertainment’s SMTown Live World Tour Heads to Europe
SM Entertainment (SM) is finally expanding its influences to Europe. SMTown Live World Tour is a world-wide live concert tour SM organizes with its affiliated artists. Up till now, this tour had been focused more on Asian countries, but it is finally expanding its tour to include Europe. The first European city it plans to visit is Paris, France. The concert will take place on June 10th at the Le Zenith de Paris and will feature SM artists like DBSK, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), and more.
Having a Korean concert is rare enough, but the fact that one of Korea’s largest entertainment agency is bringing its best artists for a jam packed concert is pretty unbelievable. The concert venue, Le Zenith de Paris, has hosted concerts of global artists like Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, and the Jonas Brothers.
With this first step into Europe, SM plans to expand in the European, as well as the American, market. The European expansion brings both good and bad news to its fans. More fans worldwide will get a chance to see their favorite artists, but the wait to see them will now be longer as they have to wait a full circle before their favorite artists visit them again.
