Spica Releases MV for “Painkiller”

On March 29, Spica released the full music video for their second single, “Painkiller.” The song came just three weeks after wrapping up promotions for their debut track, “Russian Roulette.”

“Painkiller” is an R&B track written by Ryan Jhun, whose previous works include songs by Lee Hyori, DBSK, and SHINee. Spica’s agency said of the song, “We thought a lot about our new song. There were people who wanted to hear a song stressing more on the members’ vocals while some asked for a more powerful performance. So we had difficulty finding a song that balances both sides.”
