The GRACE - DANA&SUNDAY Revise Their Lyrics to Meet with MBC Regulations

The GRACE – DANA&SUNDAY recently released their comeback track “One More Chance,” whose lyrics have already made headlines. However, these lyrics are also causing a bit of a problem for MBC.

The song makes use of interesting and unique lyrics such as “Adam’s rib was lost, but it’s me who needs to lose them,” and, “Bridget Jones met her mate, what can she do that I can’t.”

“One More Chance” also mentions alcohol, with the girls singing, “I don’t like soju because the glass is too small, it make my face look bigger.  The rice wine glass is big, and holds more. That’s just my style.”  Despite these lyrics passing both KBS and SBS regulations, MBC decided that the song would not pass their regulations due to the lyrics about alcohol.  

In order to meet MBC’s regulations, the girls changed the lyrics, replacing “soju” with “espresso,” and “rice wine” with “latte.”
