Week in Fashion: Song Ji Hyo, Lee Jong Suk, Lee Min Ho, and Yuri

The fashion highlight of the week may have been G-Dragon and Taeyang at Paris Fashion Week, but here in Seoul, the premieres of the drama “Emergency Couple” and the movies “Boiling Youth” and “Miss Granny” provided ample opportunity for red carpet highlights. Let’s take a look at some of the celebrities and their outfits!

Song Ji Hyo

Although Song Ji Hyo looks beautiful even in her “Running Man” tracksuits and ski jackets, she went girly for the “Emergency Couple” premiere, wearing a lace dress from designer Maria Lucia Hohan. The actress accessorized with a bow belt and nude “Bianca” pumps from Christian Louboutin. If the dress looks familiar, it’s because similar styles have been worn by several American stars. A black version of the same “Malika” dress was worn by the dancer Dita Von Teese, while lace dresses from the same designer were previously worn by Taylor Swift and Rachel McAdams.

Lee Jong Suk

At the premiere of his new movie, “Boiling Youth,” Lee Jong Suk looked fashion-forward in a shocking pink overcoat from Mugler’s Fall 2013 menswear collection. (Question: Do you think he intentionally chose it to match with the backdrop?) The runway version was paired with matching pink slacks, but Lee Jong Suk kept it simple with a black turtleneck and skinny pants. Wise choice!

Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho turned up at the same premiere in a coat from Valentino’s Fall 2013 menswear collection. The actor exchanged the teal sweater and matching slacks shown in the runway version for a maroon sweater and black skinny jeans.

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri

Yuri looked extremely chic at the premiere of “Miss Granny.” The Girls’ Generation member paired a navy Kenzo coat with the designer’s “Flying Tiger” skinny jeans. We like her choice of the burgundy handbag against the navy.
