2NE1's "I Am the Best" Plagiarized by a Venezuelan Shoes Brand?

Recently, 2NE1‘s “I am the Best” video has been used without permission by a Venezuelan shoes brand named “Full Time”.

In the commercial video, appear images from 2NE1 and then images of several pairs of shoes and the wording FULL TIME with the video of the girls as a background. Then a male voice says: “Full Time shoes, quality in your feet”.

Venezuelan fans shocked by this incident of plagiarism, recorded the video used for commercial purposes and uploaded the video on youtube and also sent massive links on YG Entertainment‘s youtube and facebook account to catch the attention from the company and let them know about this incident.

This is not the first time that a K-Pop video or song gets plagiarized by South American artists or companies that use it without permission from the original artist. Remember back in January of this year when MBLAQ‘s song “Oh Yeah” was used without permission by Ecuatorean artist Andrea Bucaram, incident that made all MBLAQ’s fans to start a fight over on her facebook and twitter account.

Also, months ago when a group named Zivao made a cover or spanish version of a song from DBSK which made all their fans go upset over the incident.

Too bad that these kinds of things happen in South America but K-Pop fans are always aware and fighting for their artists to stop these kind of improper use of intellectual material from korean artists. Some think that this helps to promote K-Pop even more and some think that this is just plain wrong. What do you think about this?
