CN Blue's "Ear Fun" Reaches #13 on United World Chart

CN Blue’s growing popularity overseas is proved once again. The four-man band’s latest release, their third mini-album “Ear Fun” claimed the 13th spot of the United World Chart for the third week of April. The album was also noted for having the “largest sales increase” in the week.

“Ear Fun” appears alongside the releases of world music superstars Madonna, Nicki Minaj, One Direction and others. Grammy award-winner Adele ruled the chart with “21.” Aside from “Ear Fun,” Shinhwa‘s “The Return” also appears on the 33rd place on this week’s chart.

The United World Chart, begun in 1998, is run by Germany-based Media Traffic, Inc. (www.mediatraffic.de.) The chart is an aggregate weekly measure of major world sales of single and album releases in the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands and Australia.

CN Blue has successfully concluded the round of domestic promotions for “Ear Fun,” featuring the title track “Hey You.” Vocalist and guitarist Jung Yong Hwa is set to embark on a hiatus to prepare for their next album. Meanwhile, Lee Jong Hyun and Kang Min Hyuk are currently actively involved in acting projects.
