SBS survival audition program “K-Pop Star” has been on a roll lately and gained tremendous popularity from outside of Korea as well.

On the eighth episode of K-Pop Star which aired on January 22, Su Pearls performed “Fame” the original soundtrack of the eponymous movie. Their cover especially has been receiving hot responses online as it surpassed the million view mark on the entertainment portal Daum.

Their performance of SNSD‘s “The Boys” has also been quite popular among fans.

They have been earning the praise of jugdes JYP, Yang Hyun Suk and BoA. But despite their superior talent, they were forced to disband in order to keep a level playing field.

It’s actually hard for a group of people with different ranges to harmonize their voices, especially in an audition program where they don’t have enough pratice time and little room for trials. Su Pearls has been able to achieve that and have put on breathtaking performances in perfect harmony.

Member Park Ji Min from Su Pearls has been in the spotlight for her amazing vocals and cover of Adele‘s “Rolling In The Deep.” She is the one who has been praised by Ashton Kutcher on twitter.
