KBS Denies JYJ’s Appearance on "Music Bank" Again

Through their official website, KBS has announced that JYJ are not allowed to perform, and promote, on "Music Bank." According to a recently-released statement, "Entertainers who are in litigations can effect the results of the lawsuits if they appear on TV. We will watch the development of the events and then we will decide about their appearances."

JYJ put on another stunning performance at their latest solo concert, “JYJ UNFORGETTABLE LIVE CONCERT IN JAPAN 2011,” leaving more than 80,000 avid fans in awe over the two-day concert from Oct. 15 to 16. Making their first Japanese appearance in five months, JYJ gave performances of songs from their worldwide album, “The Beginning,” as well as their latest Korean special album, “In Heaven.” They also sang tracks from their drama OSTs, including “Found You” from MBC drama “Sungkyunkwan Sandal,” “I’ll Protect You” from SBS drama “Protect the Boss,” and “You Are So Beautiful” from SBS drama “Scent of a Woman.”

Kim Hyun Joong: "I Watched Every Episode of ‘Protect the Boss’"

In a recent interview, Kim Hyun Joong revealed that he watched the hit drama "Protect the Boss" in support of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, a close friend of his. According to Hyun Joong, "Jaejoong recently appeared in the SBS drama ‘Protect the Boss’. I watched each and every episode of the drama." He was also all praises for Jaejoong’s acting, admitting that, "I even texted him with things like: ‘The drama is fun, I see?’ and ‘You’re good at acting, I see?’ I also joked, saying he should invite me to the afterparty."

JYJ Jaejoong’s Twitter Account Hacked

Recently, JYJ’s Jaejoong announced that his Twitter account was hacked. In the early morning of October 11, Jaejoong posted, "I think somebody hacked my Twitter account. I’m not sure who it is, but if this keeps happening I’m just going to have to close my account." through twitter. Jaejoong, like many other celebrities, has been regularly keeping in touch with his fans through Twitter. He highly values his Twitter account, because it’s a casual way for him to announce topics related to his activties such has the release of his new album and stories regarding his drama.

JYJ Qualifies for Gaon Charts

Following negotiations, JYJ’s releases, including their recently-released album "IN HEAVEN", are now qualified to be ranked on Gaon Charts. According to an affiliate of Gaon, "The distributor, A&G Mods, was not a member firm of the Gaon Chart and so tracking (the copies sold for the chart) was impossible. Currently we are in the middle of final negotiations over the number of copies sold and reflection of that number on the chart."

Group JYJ’s European tour is currently receiving explosive attention from K-Pop fans at the site. The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) apologized to JYJ fans on its official Twitter on October 6, amidst protests and suspicion that a recent web banner used by the SMG is too similar to an earlier advertisement banner created by JYJ fans.
