NCT 127 Becomes First Korean Artists To Be Invited To

On June 25, NCT 127 was invited to perform at the Apple retail store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in New York, U.S. for the brand’s “Today at Apple” event, and was met with an energetic and positive response from fans.

“Today at Apple” is a new program unveiled by Apple in May that invites artists, musicians, photographers, entrepreneurs, and educators from around the world to hold various talk sessions to showcase their talents and share their experiences. The members of NCT 127 are the first Korean singers to be invited to the event, proving yet again the global popularity of the group.

During the event, NCT 127 put on a powerful performance of “Cherry Bomb,” “0 Mile,” and “Limitless,” much to the delight of their fans. They also opened up about their promotional activities and shared a behind-the-scenes look at their lives as a K-pop group.

SM Entertainment explained that fans gathered from the early hours of the morning to see NCT 127.

NCT 127, who recently returned with their third mini album “Cherry Bomb,” is the first Korean group to be introduced in Apple Music’s “New Artist of the Week” list. They also topped the iTunes album charts in 11 countries, and ranked in the top 10 in 25 countries.

The group also shared a handful of photos from the event on their Twitter account on June 26 to commemorate the special event.
