Lee Gun Min From

RBW trainee Lee Gun Min recently sat down for an interview to talk about his appearance (or lack thereof) on “Produce 101 Season 2.”

The trainee sadly got eliminated from the show after placing 94th. He shared, “It was my first time filming a show so I was really excited, but that wave of excitement quickly ended. After getting eliminated so early, I got envious while watching the rest of the trainees on the show, but at the same time, I was really proud of them. I’m happy everyone did well.”

“I didn’t get much screen time, but people told me they liked the way I smiled. I gained some confidence from this,” he added.

Lee Gun Min then talked about his group’s “Boy in Luv” performance, where he did a backflip after nailing two high notes. He said, “It was really burdensome for me. It originally wasn’t my part, but I somehow ended up having to do the ad-lib. Because I had to do a backflip after hitting the ad-lib, I was worried I’d make a mistake. The performance, however, actually came out really well so it was a memorable moment for me.”

His fellow RBW trainees then revealed that Lee Gun Min watched his “Boy in Luv” focus fan cam video everyday. “Half of the views are probably from me,” he admitted.

While talking about the tears he shed on the show, Lee Gun Min expressed, “I stayed up for two nights to practice ‘It’s Me (Pick Me).’ I memorized the choreography, but my mind went completely blank right when I had to film my evaluation video. During the interview that followed, I broke down. I’m usually not the type to cry, but I began shedding tears and my nose started bleeding. It was seriously just blood, sweat, and tears.”
