Kwon Hyun Bin Shares His Most Difficult Moments On "Produce 101 Season 2"

Kwon Hyun Bin, the YGKPlus trainee who placed 22nd on the show “Produce 101 Season 2,” recently sat down for an interview with MBN Star.

During the interview, he shared what the hardest moments were on the show. Towards the beginning of the show, he was criticized for his low skill level and what seemed to be an insincere attitude during practice. He said, “I think [the hardest part of the show] was when I got so many malicious comments right after my ‘Sorry Sorry’ performance. I saw some comments that weren’t just constructive criticism. I wasn’t scared of the comments themselves, per se, but I started having this victim mentality, wondering whether other people hated me as well. So I was scared of the cameras for a while.”

He overcame the challenge by working even harder. He said, “I thought it would be admitting [that I had an insincere attitude] if I gave up or ran away. So I tried as hard as I could to show myself doing well. I saw that my fans were enduring it as well, and I worked even harder.”

Even though he had these difficulties, he would join “Produce 101 Season 2” again without hesitation. He said that it was an opportunity for him to grow and mature.

His end goal is to become a great artist. He said, “I know that I have to put in a lot of effort to become that. I’m working really hard.” He revealed his future plans as well, saying, “I would like to [go back onto the stage] as soon as possible so that I can return my fans’ love. I would like to become someone who can be great on stage. Please look forward to that!”
