Mnet Responds To Reports Of Ad And Interview Restrictions On “Produce 101 Season 2” Eliminated Trainees
Mnet has responded to reports of restrictions placed on trainees eliminated from “Produce 101 Season 2.”
On June 27, reports were made that all eliminated trainees would not be able to shoot advertisements for three months and those eliminated from the top 20 would not be able to participate in interviews.
In response, a source from Mnet explained, “There were no such details in the contracts, and they were not even suggested to do so. We only requested that they participate well in the concert rehearsals. While there could be guidelines set on the 11 debut members, we know that it is not right to regulate the non-debut trainees. We have not set such regulations.”
Meanwhile, the Wanna One members and other top 35 trainees will be performing at a finale concert on July 1 and 2.
