BLACKPINK, MONSTA X, And 9MUSES' New Releases Make Great Debuts On Billboard's World Charts

New releases by BLACKPINK, MONSTA X, and 9MUSES are showing their international popularity on Billboard’s charts!

On June 27, Billboard released their latest weekly charts, which are for the week ending in July 8.

BLACKPINK has grabbed the No. 1 spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart with their new track “As If It’s Your Last”! This is the group’s third song to take the No. 1 spot on this chart, after topping the chart with their debut track “Boombayah” (with their second debut track “Whistle” coming in No. 2 at the time) and also with “Playing with Fire” last November.

Buzz about their new track seems to have created even more interest in the group’s other releases, as their second single album “Square Two” from last November has taken No. 12 on Billboard’s World Albums chart. The group is also at No. 15 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart, showing just how much talk there’s been about their latest release on social media.

After holding the No. 1 spot on the World Albums chart for two weeks, G-Dragon’s album “Kwon Ji Yong” is now at No. 2 on the chart. NCT 127’s mini album “NCT #127 CHERRY BOMB” comes in at No. 5 after being at No. 2 last week.

MONSTA X’s new repackaged album “Shine Forever” has entered the World Albums chart at No. 10, while 9MUSES’ mini album “Identity” grabs the No. 15 spot as it makes its debut on the chart.

BTS’s “You Never Walk Alone” remains on the chart for its fifteenth week in total now, coming in at No. 14. The group is also currently at No. 2 on the Social 50 chart, after surpassing Taylor Swift to become the artist with the second-most No. 1s on the chart last week.

Congratulations to all the artists!
