VIXX Hilariously Trolls Each Other Again As They Celebrate N's Birthday

The guys of VIXX are it again!

On June 29 at 11:44 p.m. KST, VIXX member Ravi tweeted, “N, I’m sorry that I’m wishing you a happy birthday belatedly. Your birthday will be over in a few minutes. Congrats, and I hope you had a fun birthday.” He added that he’s glad N got to travel for his birthday, and that he hopes he will have a good time once he returns to his daily routine in a few moments too.

엔형 축하 늦게해줘서 미안해 생일이 이제 몇분 후면 끝나네 축하하고 즐거운 생일이였길바래.
그래도 생일을 맞이해서 여행도 다녀오고 보기좋다.아쉽겠지만 몇분 뒤엔 다시 일상으로 돌아와 지나간 생일의 여운은 뒤로한채 즐거운 시간을 또 만들어가기를 바랄게!

A few moments later, he tweeted again to say, “Still, even though I’m late, I was the first one of our members to wish you a happy birthday. I guess I’m the only one who thinks about you.”

그래도 늦은 와중에 멤버들 중에서 내가 젤 빨리 축하해줬다.역시 형 생각하는건 나밖에 없나봐.

However, N’s birthday is June 30, meaning Ravi was actually early to the party and not late!

Ken (and plenty of fans) replied to Ravi to laugh, but Ravi tweeted back to Ken, “Don’t laugh, you should quickly wish him a happy birthday. Even if you do it now, you’re in second place.”

Hongbin jumped in to copy and paste Ravi’s message of congratulations and apology, tweeting the entire thing with only a minor change to the final sentence. He posted it at 12:06 a.m. KST on N’s actual birthday, and Ravi replied to congratulate him on coming in second, but pointed out that he was late.

Ken then came in third when he tweeted almost exactly the same message, again with only a couple small changes (this time saying his birthday was over) and apologizing for being late, at 12:19 a.m. KST.

Hyuk later joined in on the fun by uploading his own version of the tweet, with once again only small adjustments to the phrasing, at 4:29 a.m. KST.

This may all be the guys’ way of referencing their mix up last year, when Hongbin first tweeted to wish N a happy “belated” birthday on June 28 (two days before N’s actual birthday). Hyuk replied to say that he was trembling, and Ken said, “Oh, I’m too late.” Ravi then replied regretfully that he’d already bought N a birthday gift, but he’d have to give it to him next year, and apologized for being “later than Hongbin.”

Or then again, there may just still be some confusion about what day N’s birthday falls on!

This year, N also tweeted shortly after midnight KST June 30 with a poster for VIXX’s fans Starlight, in which he wrote, “Always on my side. Starlight. Thank you so much.”
