Chae Soo Bin Embraces New "Girl Crush" Image In Stills For "Best Delivery Person"

KBS’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Best Delivery Person” stars Go Kyung Pyo and Chae Soo Bin in a story about youth working hard as delivery people to achieve their dreams despite lacking the advantages of the upper class. Former 4minute member Nam Ji Hyun was recently also revealed to be cast in the drama.

Chae Soo Bin plays Lee Dan Ah, a delivery person who keeps her eye on the prize and goes her own way instead of following others. She also has 15 years of hapkido under her belt and is known as a veteran delivery person in her neighborhood. After work, she focuses hard on her English studies and dreams of escaping the poor surroundings in which she finds herself.

In new stills from the drama, Chae Soo Bin embraces her “girl crush” character by strapping on mirrored sunglasses and straddling a red scooter, which are often used in South Korea by delivery people. The production staff were reportedly impressed by her ability to keep a cool expression despite the dirty wind flying into her face and the long hours of filming.

“Chae Soo Bin prepared a lot for the drama,” the staff said in a statement. “She practiced riding the motorcycle and hapkido even though as an actress it must have been hard for her to use her body so much. Her hard work and passion paid off in front of the camera. From the first filming, we were impressed. Please look forward to her performance.”

“Best Delivery Person” is expected to premiere on July 28 following the finale of “Greatest One-Shot.”
