"Section TV" Responds To Song Joong Ki And Song Hye Kyo's Engagement News

Previously, MBC’s “Section TV” was criticized for digging into Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s trip to Bali and even exposing a photo from Song Hye Kyo’s private social media account. After the show aired a second report, the actress’s agency expressed that it wasn’t worth responding to the claims made by the witness.

Earlier today, however, the two actors announced the news of their engagement, and “Section TV” relayed a message to the star couple.

“We definitely think they had a valid reason to deny the dating rumors. We congratulate them on their [upcoming] marriage, and we hope they will live happily as a global couple for a very long time,” said the production staff.

“‘Section TV’ will continue from now on to check facts quickly and accurately,” they added.
