Red Velvet’s new song “Red Flavor” has come up on top on seven music charts.

SM Entertainment stated, “Red Velvet released their mini album ‘The Red Summer’ at noon KST on July 9. The title track ‘Red Flavor’ topped seven music charts on Melon, Genie, Naver Music, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, and Monkey3 [at 2 p.m. KST]. All the tracks on the mini album ranked high on the charts, proving that Red Velvet’s return as sweet summer queens has been a success.”

“Red Flavor” is an up-tempo dance track that fully embodies the feeling of summer. The unique lyrics use the color “red” to express the feeling of hot “summer” and electrifying “love.”
