Girls' Generation's Seohyun Talks About Her Acting Experience On

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, who is currently acting in the MBC weekend drama “Bad Thief, Good Thief” (directed by Oh Kyung Hoon and Jang Joon Ho and written by Son Young Mok and Cha Yi Young), recently sat down for an interview through the production staff of the drama.

“[My character Kang So Joo] is a girl crush character who is full of righteousness and chivalry,” she said. “I was worried at first whether I could express her well, but I think there are a lot of similarities to my real personality so I had fun acting.”

On her chemistry with her co-stars, she said, “Ji Hyun Woo, who plays Jang Dol Mok, is very comfortable to be around and leads me well so it was easy to get into the emotional scenes. Thanks to him, I can get immersed in the character of Kang So Joo. I got so immersed that in the ending scene of Episode 14, I made a mistake and hit Ji Hyun Woo in the head with the cell phone I was holding by mistake.”

She added, “I think that stamina is important in filming this drama. The drama is very long and Kang So Joo is involved in a lot of action scenes, so my goal is to work as hard as I can without injuring myself.”

Finally, Seohyun picked her favorite scene from the drama. “It’s hard to pick just one scene, but the one that I remember well was when Dol Mok and Jong Bum were in high school. They shout something like, ‘School should be like school and students should be like students.’ It was very refreshing to hear so I think that’s why I remember it.”
