Red Velvet Tops Worldwide Album Charts With "The Red Summer"

Red Velvet’s newest release is not only showing success in Korea but sweeping global charts, as well!

The girl group’s newest mini album “The Red Summer” was released on July 9 and rose to first on iTunes Worldwide Album Charts in eight countries including Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and Belize. It topped iTunes K-pop Charts in eight additional countries including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Argentina, and Chile.

The album’s title track “Red Flavor” also took first on Chinese music site Xiami Music’s Korean music chart.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet began promotions for “Red Flavor” through their first comeback stage on “Inkigayo.”
