EXO Confidently Says They’re Ready To Dominate 2nd Half Of 2017 With Upcoming Comeback
The members of EXO are confident about their upcoming album, getting fans excited for their comeback.
On July 10, EXO held a surprise V App live broadcast to connect with fans and give little “spoilers” about their new songs.
D.O. said, “Please anticipate this new side of EXO we’ve prepared,” while Baekhyun added, “I’d dare to say this album is going to be daebak [a jackpot]. I know the title track will be because I helped write the lyrics.”
Baekhyun said, “We’re going to break the universe. Please anticipate it, and our repackage album too.” Suho joked, “We might not do a repackage album,” to which Baekhyun and Chen argued back, “Of course we will!”
Chen then expressed what he hopes for EXO in 2017 as he stated, “EXO is ready to take the second half of this year. We want to spend this summer chilling with you, our fans.” Baekhyun agreed and confidently added that the group will dominate the second half of 2017. Kai also emphasized, “This is an album that defines our outlook on the world. I think you will all enjoy it.”
To wrap things up, Suho said, “We’re going to be busy with a variety of activities. Not only will we be on music shows, we’ll hold V App broadcasts, and even be on JTBC’s ‘Ask Us Anything,” and “We participated in a lot of the composition and lyric-writing process for this album, so get excited!”
EXO’s fourth studio album “The War” will be released on July 18 at 6 p.m. KST.
